HOME MADE

Home Made includes the embroidered outlines of all the homes that my mother and I have shared together with the record of its creation projected back onto the finished embroidery. The layered experience of the projection over the piece expresses tactile memory and our shared act of making, a ghost of our participation. It produces a shift in perspective, a new dimension where our homes and the record of their recreation occupy the same space.
