EVERY PLACE I'VE CALLED HOME

This piece is a recreation of all the places I’ve called home. I’ve moved many times in my life, and moving that much makes the idea of home much more significant. In an effort to hold onto those departed spaces, I recreated them as pop-ups, a form that I can physically manipulate to metaphorically bring all my homes closer together.  It acts as a record of those homes that I can carry with me. The book is a journey, a path, part of which is on each page. It is not a collection of individual homes, but a single experience that connects disparate spaces.
